The transfer of such real-time content via UMTS network and IP network directed towards the TV or the emission center.

Putting on air the Audio / video output of the source selected using the user interface to address an embedded SDI output (either PAL or NTSC) and simultaneously on a stream across the Internet in Windows Media Video, Real Video or 3gp.

Key elements of the presented system are:

  •  The " cabina di regia ": an application installed in an appliance or existing infrastructure that lets you view, record, edit and select audio and video content from 3G terminals or IP cameras connected to the Internet. La regia RTB-jicho is a software that allows you to remotely manage from a simple PC flows received, it allow to send directly to the television transmission equipment.
  • The RTB client resulting from a reengineering of various algorithms applied to specific hardware features of Nokia N Series terminals (through specific manufacturers’ API), by improving the algorithms for the acquisition of video and audio, with a specific compression (similar to the JPEG format), thus enabling better management of the UMTS band.
    The client, in addition to the transfer in real-time content, the implementation of the functionality of store & forward (client-side storage and asynchronous transfer mode): this function overcomes the difficulties arising from the lack of network coverage in the location from which it must carry out the transmission.

Areas of Application:
this infrastructure give the possibility to "occasional reporters " to have a recovery system audio / video in PAL quality using appropriate mobile communications on UMTS network or appropriate webcam connected to personal computers.
